As executive of Danaher Corporation, he was trained in the Toyota system by pioneers, and introduced lean into all thirteen units of the company. As CEO of Wiremold Company, a well-known case that is reported in the book Lean Turnaround, he led an aggressive lean transformation that led the company to increase its market value by 2500% in 10 years, and to gain recognition through the Shingo Award. He is currently operations partner at J. W. Childs Associates L.P., leading the lean conversion of the companies in Child’s portfolio.

Author of the book Lean Turnaround, in which he describes the lean conversion from a CEO position in more than thirty companies in fourteen countries, and highlights the role of leader and the fact that a lean strategy can transform any type of company.
